About John Simmons
John Simmons has photographed the southeastern US for five decades. He specializes in large format photography using American cameras - Graphlex, Speed Graphic and Wehman cameras. Nikon cameras capture his digital images. He studied music at Georgia State University and currently plays trombone, bass trombone, and tuba with the Coastal Brass Choir, the St. Simons Presbyterian Church Chancel Wind Ensemble, the Chamber Orchestra, and the Golden Isles Community Band..
