I’m John E. Simmons. I’ve been a serious fine art photographer for about 50-years, using cameras in almost all formats. I now shoot largely with my 8×10 view camera and a Nikon digital. But I still get out the old Nikon 35mm (F, F2) and Mamiya medium format cameras. And my 4×5 Speed Graphics, of course.
As for music, I began playing in my grammar school band back in the 50s. I majored in music in college and played professionally in rock bands, jazz groups, concert bands, orchestras and occasionally for the Greatest Show on Earth, the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus.
