This is a standard formula recommended for development of Reprolith and Reprolith Ortho Films.

 

 

 

Water (Not over 90F or 32C) 2 L
Sodium Sulfite, anhydrous 120 g
Paraformaldehyde 30 g
Potassium Metabisulfite 10.5 g
Boric Acid Crystals 30 g
Hydroquinone 90 g
Potassium Bromide 6 g
Water to make 4 L

 

Dissolve chemicals in the order given and use solution full strength. Normal developing time 2 to 3 minutes at 68 to 70F (20 to 21C). For Reprolith Orthochromatic, develop 1 1/2 to 3 minutes at same temperature.

From Ansco Formulas for Black and White Film by GAF, 1948 – Formulas are provided for historical reference. They may not work well with modern films and papers. Some of the chemicals can be dangerous. As with all photographic processes, be careful.
